The
full name of Azam shah was Abu’l Faaiz Qutb-ud-Din Muhammad Azam and he was
born on 28 June 1653 he was the 7th Mughal empire and commonly known
as Azam Shah (King Azam) was a titular Mughal emperor titular means in English
is that (having the title of a position but not the responsibilities, duties,
or power, in name only. And he was the eldest son of Aurangzeb. He rule only
one year he rule Mughal empire poorly from 14 march 1707 8 June 1707.
He was appointed by his father as the
heir-apparent Shahi Ali Jah 12 August 1681. He was served as the Viceroy of
Berar Subah, Malwa, Bengal, Gujarat, Deccan, etc. Azam Shah and his three sons, Sultan Bidar
Bakht, Shahzada Jawan Bakht Bahadur and Shahzada Sikandar Shan Bahadur, were
later defeated and killed by Azam Shah's older half-brother Prince of Shah Alam
he later crowned as Bahadur Shah I, during the Battle of Jajau on 8 June 1707.
Death:
Muhammad Azam shah later defeated by
his older half-brother prince and died on 8 June 1707 at the age of 53 during
the battle of Jajau and his three sons all killed by prince in that battle he
only rule 4 months and kill in that
battle.
