Darius III was born on 380 B.C in Persia his original name was Artashata, people called him   Codomannus by the greeks, and he was the last king of Achaemenid Empire who rule from 336 B.C to 330 B.C.  And then he changes his name to Daris III as a dynasty name.  

Darius was the king of Persia, king of Babylon, pharaoh of Egypt.

Phillip II:

               In 336 BC Philip II of Macedon the father of alexander the great was forced by  its peoples and generals to take the revenge from the Persians for desecrating and killing thousands of Greeks  and burning the Athenian temples during the Second Persian War, Over the century before .  They have to take the revenge from the Persians for doing this. SO he sent an advance force into Asia Minor under the control or command of his great generals Parmenion and Attalus to "Won” the Greeks cities that are under the control of Persian Empire. After the Great War, they took the control of Greek cities of Asia from Troy to the Maiandros River. But then Phillip II was assainated by the Persians. After him alexander takes all the control of Greece and became the king.

Alexander the Great against Darius III:

                                                                      In 334 B.C Alexander planes to conquered Persia from the Darius he also knows that Darius has the huge army in the world  that the people had  ever  seen in their life but alexander do not afraid of any thing he keep moving like a lion “when lion goes for hunting anything” in that way alexander take the army of Macedonia flea towards Persia to hunt Darius III, Alexander  defeated the Persians in a number of battles before looting and destroying the  great capital   Persepolis by fire in 330 B.C   with the Persian Empire now effectively under Alexander's control.

After many lose in the battles from alexander, Darius finally come face to face with his huge army of 250000 Persians against Alexander.

Alexander only has 40000 thousand brave Macedonians against Darius and his huge army But Darius lost the battle, retreated to Babylon and start preparing for another battle .The battle of Gaugamela:

BATTLE OF Gaugamela:

In November 333 BC Darius III finally lost the Battle of Issus from alexander the Great, resulting in the capture of his wife, his mother and his two daughters, Stateira II and Drypetis. Now Darius wanted to make the peace with alexander and stars negotiation with him 1. He offer him to marry with his daughter but alexander refuses it 2.   He offered him to release his mother, wife, Daughter and take the all lands from the west Euphrates Alexander refuses it. 3. Darius also offers him 30000 talents of silver but he refuses he said there will be only one king of Asia either you or me prepare for another Battle .Darius starts preparing and the both kings met near Gaugamela with their huge armies the battle starts, But Darius was defeated and his all men’s were defeated and killed but he manage to escape.

Alexander won the Battle become the king of Persia, after some days Darius killed by his troops or some Historians says that he killed by his cousin Bessus in July 330B.c.

When Alexander found his body he was sad and gave him the great burial .Darius III was buried in Persepolis in Persia, he died at the age of (50-49) the great ancient king of the world who rule two continents given below.
