Aurangzeb :
The
full name of Aurangzeb was Mahi-Ud-Din Muhammad and he was popularly known as
Aurangzeb the great and the meaning of his name was (“the conqueror of the
world”) and he was the sixth Mughal Empire and the last affected one and he was
born on 3 November 1618 and in his period of time Mughal were ruling nearly all
over the Indian subcontinent and during his rule Mughal were reached to its
greatest extent
Country economic:
Aurangzeb was a successful brave and
notable king or ruler of his time notable, the Mughal Empire reached to its
greatest extent in Aurangzeb period of time and he ruling nearly all over the
Indian subcontinent. During his lifetime, he won many battle’s in his time and
his victories in the south expanded the Mughal Empire to 4 million square
kilometers that’s was a long distance in that time, and he ruled over an
estimated population of more than 158 million in that time, with an annual
yearly income or revenue of $450 million more than ten times of Louis XIV OF
FRANCE .or ESTIMATED economic income or revenue of £38,624,680 (2,879,469,894
rupees) in 1690. Under his time period , India surpassed China to become the
world's largest economy of the world worth more than over $90 billion, nearly a
half quarter of world GDP in 1700 in
that time.
Aurangzeb was one of the greatest kings
in the history of the world but some historians says that he was evil and
unconscious for his action he kills man Hindus and destroy them and kill a
popular Sikh guru that time and also
destroyed Muslims mosques and he also famous for killing of Shia Muslims.
With his those actions the downfall and
the end of Mughal Empire started.
War of succession with his brothers:
The four sons of
shah Jahan all held governorship during his father rule but his four sons
battle each other with their armies and Aurangzeb won the battle and kill all
his three brothers and put shah Jahan into the prison and become the king of
Mughal empire .
Victory over Deccan with his huge army:
He went with his huge
armies and battle with Uzbek’s and kills them and defeated them and he finally
become victorious in Deccan after many attacks and defeated.
Aurangzeb rule India more than any
other Mughal empire he made huge armies with 30000 men’s 20000 Calvary.
In
1685, Aurangzeb ordered his son Muhammad Azam Shah to gathered army with a
force of nearly 50,000 men to capture Bijapur Fort means (a strong or fortified
place occupied by troops and usually surrounded by walls, ditches, and other
defensive works; a fortress; fortification). And go and defeat Sikandar Adil
Shah the king or ruler of Bijapur. Who refused to be a vassal of Mughal Empire.
The Mughals could not make any advancement or forgive him with that action Bijapur
Fort was famous for superior usage of cannon batteries on both sides. And
Aurangzeb arrived on 4 September 1686 and ordered to attack the Bijapur fort
with the eight days of battle Mughal was superior and victorious.
Only one ruler was left in India, Abul
Hasan Qutb Shah the ruler of Qutbshahi Golconda. Who refused to surrender He
and his army and servicemen fortified themselves at Golconda and protected the Kollur
Mine which was the world second largest
productive diamond mine and an important economic asset for Mughal
empire. In 1687, Aurangzeb ordered his grand Mughal army to battle with the
Deccan Qutbshahi fortress during the Siege of Golconda. The Qutbshahis had
constructed a huge and massive fortification throughout many successive
generations on a granite hill over maximum of 400 ft. high with an enormous
eight-mile long wall covering the city. The main gate of Golconda was heavily
built with massive armor and good material had the ability to survive the
massive attacks of any war elephants. Aurangzeb ordered his troops to start the
battle they fought them almost 8 months and many sacrifice and defeated Mughal
are finally won the battle after the sacrifice of their great commander klich
khan Bahadur. When they destroy the gate his army captures the city and entered
into the fort and Abdul Hasan Qutb shah surrendered peacefully. And the won the
battle this was the difficult battle for Mughals and Aurangzeb ever. And they
also get the hold control of diamond mine.
Death:
In 1689, almost all the Southern India
was a part of the Mughal Empire and Aurangzeb rule all over the India and after
the successful victory of Golconda, Aurangzeb become the richest and most
powerful man alive in the subcontinent. Mughal victories in the south part expanded
the Mughal Empire to about 4 million square kilometers with a population
estimated over more than 158 million. And after the successful 87 years of his
period of time he died in 1707 and after his death the fall of Mughal Empire
started.
